Event Collaboration

Fukuoka × Indonesia Student Global Hackathon Program

Tentang Acara Ini

This global entrepreneurship program invites Fukuoka-area students interested in entrepreneurship and social/industrial challenges to team up with Indonesian local students in Indonesia.

This is a cross-border experience where Japanese and Indonesian students come together to turn ideas into real solutions. The program begins with online sessions to connect with your teammates in mid-October, then brings you together in Jakarta for a three-day hackathon before continuing with follow-up activities after the event throughout November.

Connect & Prepare: Join online sessions to get to know your teammates and prepare for the hackathon.

  • Collaborate Across Borders: Work in a team of four, with two Japanese and two Indonesian students, using English throughout the program.

  • Build a Real Project: Develop a solution to a social issue your team genuinely cares about, with guidance from mentors.

  • Showcase Your Work: Present your project at Demo Day to an audience including representatives from the Government of Japan and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia.

  • Network & Explore: Take part in a networking visit and connect with students, mentors, industry professionals, and potential investors.

  • Keep Building: Continue your project journey through online follow-up sessions after the hackathon.

Participation is free, with no registration fee. Participants will receive a certificate and gain hands-on experience in cross-border collaboration, startup development, prototyping, and pitching.

Participant Criteria :
