The Role

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand our Japanese client portfolio in Indonesia. You will build relationships with Japanese companies, identify business opportunities, and convert them into long-term consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities with Japanese companies in Indonesia.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, events, and outreach.

  • Conduct client meetings and present VenturesLink's solutions.

  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and communications in Japanese and English.

  • Manage opportunities from initial contact through contract signing.

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO on business development initiatives.

  • Achieve agreed sales and growth targets.

Requirements

  • Native or business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent).

  • Strong English communication skills.

  • Experience in business development, sales, consulting, or account management.

  • Strong understanding of Japanese business culture.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.

  • Willingness to travel when required.
